The intent of the project is to explore, portray and ultimately create awareness of the harsh realities of the preconceptions we form, and identify how an individuals identification, lifestyle and personality is often formed initially from what we wear.
Using one bag donated by the Leeds Salvation Army charity shop, that had been newly dropped off by persons unknown to myself, I created characters from the bag, delving deep into their life using nothing but the judgements I have on the clothing as starting points. I was cautious to ensure my judgements that formed the text linked directly to the clothing, and that the layout and way the book was made was led by the clothing direction.
